She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Malaya in 2007 and was admitted to the Bar in 2008. She chambered in Messrs Thomas Philip under the guidance of Mr Mathew Thomas Philip. See Yimn began her practice in commercial and civil litigation and assisted renowned counsels in many cases including court of appeal and federal court matters, amongst others:
- Lee Thye @ Lee Chooi Yoke v Societe Generale Cawangan Singapura W-02-715-2003, Court of Appeal;
- Chong Fook Sin v Amanah Raya Bhd (as the administrator for the estate of Raja Nong chik bin Raja Ishak, deceased) & Ors [2011] 1 MLJ 721, Federal Court;
Throughout her practice she has handled disputes relating to: probate, insolvency, tenancy, third party claims, goods sold and delivered claims, contentious and uncontentious divorce matters as well as tortious claims in respect of defamation.
Her experience in highly contentious litigation matters has enabled her to effectively advise on conveyancing and commercial matters.
See Yimn also has a very strong background in commercial matters. She obtained her Master Degree in Business Administration from University of Utara Malaysia and has extensive experiences in oil & gas industry, especially on contract management.
She is proficient in English, Malay and Chinese.
